As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

I have awful frizzy hair like really bad (family trate).I could not live a day without GHDs.they are roughly about 鎷?00 and you can buy them from any good hairdressers or off the GHD official website.I know when my GHDs broke (my dog chewed them) i was stuck with crappy vidal sassoon and my hair was the talk of the school.Thankfully GHDs have a year garantee and i sent them back and got another pair.Now my hair is back to normal thank god xxx

Chi's and GHD's are over-rated.The best straighteners to use are called Kodo.You cant buy them in general shops but hair salons will either have them,and if not, will definitely be able to get hold of them for you.A tad pricey,but cheaper than GHDs and definitely worth it.Im a nearly qualified hairdresser and i swear by Kodo's =]
