It can be done no problem, i do it every couple of months or so, one min i want to be Blond the next i want to be dark?

All i can say is becarful, go for a colour a little darker then you want because it will fade, make sure you use enough colour to get all over the hair be generous with the colour don't be shy? this should work out fine you may need to re touch in a couple of weeks?

it could go green but if you dye it red first it could end up purple. leave it alone to grow out.

You need to ask a professional hairdresser. they know best. It is a drastic change. I did the same few month back, but i have done it in the salon. so it worked out fine for me. Do not do it yourself whatever you do.

Be careful the peroxide in your hair can make it turn green. After bleaching it blond leave it for 7 weeks to settle down then dye over it then it should be ok to dye over it.

i dont think you should do it, just go to a salon they know exactly what to do, trust me its lesser the headache and you will get nicer results from a pro

i had blond hair, but went dark. i had a semi permanent brown dye and it went GREY in patches, but after a while your hair will recover and be able to take a permanent (dark) colour.

go to the salon for advice, you cant dye over bleach or it may go green, but if you put red on it first then try going brown you have to be careful as it may go a orangy ginger colour. you can go and get the bleach blonde striped from your hair at a salon which works well but it leaves your hair in a dry condition also it is a bit expencive.

good luck

a semi-permanent color will cover the hilites with little to no damage.

you only have to do the red if you are using an ash or coloring it dark (4 levels or more) from light. (people don't usually like to go more than 2 or 3 shades darker at once because there's such a big difference - it scares people; then they want more hilites and ruin their hair even more - it's a never ending circle).

hope it helped.

have a great day, dear.

Yes you can.

I recently bleached my hair to get rid of the red (whatever you do, don't dye it red because it will not come out!) and then immediately applied brown dye.

The result was brown.

If you dye your hair with blond bits in it, then the lighter bits might still show a little, making it look more natural. Hair is never one colour all over.

Yup, you can just throw the dye right over the bleached hair. You may mant to first go a shade lighter that you want it b/c sometimes hair that has been bleached will pick/soak up the color more %26amp; it come out darker than you wanted it. If your hair doesn't do this, you can just put the next shade darker in a few weeks after.

This is what I did. I had my hair a honey blonde color for awhile %26amp; decided that it was too much to keep up with. Since my hair is naturally a medium brown, I first put in a light brown color (to see how it would take) %26amp;, since it took fine (actually came out light brown) I waited a month %26amp; just put in a med. brown color %26amp; could not be happier with the results !

Oh, make sure you use a color with a neutral base. If you use an ash color, your hair will turn green, %26amp;, if you use a red or orange base, it may turn a funky shade of orange. So, use the natural base, that way, whatever your hair's natural undertones (either gold or red) , they will shine through to give you a more natural look. :)

yeah you can but you can possibly turn it a messed up color so i would say not to try that!!!

Can you dye over bleached hair?

Yes, you can dye your hair after it has been bleached. In my opinion its actually better because the lighter tone will allow whatever color you are dying it to be head on the first time. There is no need to die it red. The brown will take effect.

It can be done, but obviously just by a professional. I had really blonde highlights and my hairdresser turned me brunette using a product called Luocolour. I didn't have to have a pre pig or anything. it turned out fine.
