Should I shave my arms ? I have very light blond hair on them , but alot of it ..?

If I try and shave them once , will I have to do it forever ? I would love to see them hairless for once atleast - to see how big a difference it would make . Like I said the hair is very light but there is just way to much of it . I would guess that it is close to half an inch long and it goes all the way up my arm . ( not as much up top but still to much for me ) I know I would feel alot better wearing sleeveless shirts - with less hair . Thanks .

If you are abnormally hairy, do what makes you comfortable. Once isn't going to hurt anything - do it and see what you think, I did when I was a young teenager until I decided it wasn't worth all the hassle. I have red hair and my arm hair stays blonde due to sunlight (even in the winter).

I used to think I had a lot of hair on my arms too, but then I realized that its normal. Hey at least you don't have dark hair, right? (no offense to those of you who do). Its just easier to test this with lighter hair...

If you want to try it a few times, to see how it goes I say go for it. But as a female all the areas we have to tend to legs, underarms, etc - I think that tending to my arms is just too much. Hey, to each their own though - you've gotta find out what works for you. Just beware, your arms may itch as time goes on and the hair will get thicker as it grows back...good luck!

NO!!! I did it and regret it to this day. I, unfortunately, had to suffer pain because I used no water or shaving cream and had a bad quality razor, and I have dark hair! One of the worst things I've ever done to my body.

If you want to get rid of the hair you should wax it instead of shaving it. Waxing doesn't hurt and lasts way longer. If you shave you'd have to do it everyday. Either way the hair grows back the same, no darker or thicker like most people think.

You know what I do, I shave my arms but not everyday. I don't see the point. I let them get a little long then I do it again. Just shave them and if you dont like it then they will go back to normal they might seem a little prickly since there new hairs but they'll go back to normal.

Oh, girl! Shave it!!! Once you do it you'll love it so much! If you don't feel like shaving them all the time, then get a cream/lotion for hair removing. You arms will stay hairless up to 1-2 weeks.

i do. i have since i was like 16. im a blonde too, and after shaving for 6 years, i need to shave um like once a week because it does grow back quicker, and darker. i would probley still shave because i hate having hair on my arms, but it will be something you will have to commit too. if you can stand the pain i would try waxing. i hope this helps~!

DO NOT SHAVE YOUR ARMS unless you want to deal with thicker, darker hair once it grows back!!!!!!

Try trimming them with scissors if you feel they are too long.

nooo way trust me i tried it before and it looks really bad and then it grows back prickly so you have to keep up with it because the pricks look really stupid and it looks bad without the hair then as it is growing back it looks even worse so just try triming it

I wouldn't shave... try waxing. It won't hurt on your arms. But I wouldn't get rid of the hair on your forearms; that looks weird hairless, in my opinion. You could just wax your upper arms if you like. You can buy pre-waxed strips in the drugstore, warm them in your hands, press down, and voila!

Oh jeez. I've shaved them once. But .. Yeah. You kinda have to do it .. For .. Like .. Forever. Sorry to burst your bubble, but .. You should just gave a wax. Or at least .. the one they sell at like .. Drug stores .. Like .. Nair. Its very good. I use it. You can't see hair on my arms anymore. BUT .. The best thing to do is .. Don't shave it anymore. It'll get longer. For the fact that I should know because my little cousin reffering to it as around .. 8 years old. Shaved her legs %26amp; Longer hair kept growing. So .. Don't shave anymore. Haha. I preffered you just use Nair =D

Ok, i'm about 95% sure that your hair WILL NOT grow back darker and a lot more if you shave them. If i was you, the most i would be worried about would be in-grown hair. I would reccomend Nair. Ya, the origional, if I remember right, kind of smells like a perm when you use it. But, if you have sensitive skin, they came out with the new Nair that has a 10 times lower pH(acidity). That should work well.

if i was you i wouldnt i had that samr problem. my arm hair was light and i wanted to see them without hair so i got the bright idea of shaving my arms, and now they are darker than they ever was now and they are longer than they was... so i wouldnt go for it...

Most likely you will have to keep up with shaving them or waxing. I shave mine about once a week but I don't mind. I like having hair-less arms because they feel so smooth and I don't feel like I have chubaka arms lol.

Definately do not shave your arms, the hair will come back darker and thicker. The best way to remove the hair on your arms is to wax them, it is a continual job but it's only every 3-4 weeks and over time the hair will become lighter and thinner until eventually you're only waxing every couple of months

its the best thing you can do because it completely pulls the root off and the hair doesnt grow as fast. it doesnt hurt to much, ive done it.

but definaltely do not shave them it will look horrible and they will be scrathy

No!! You have a tan on your hands, when you shave them. Your hands will be different shades, and will be very noticeable. When the hair starts growing back, It'll feel very awkward!

you should shave it, you know. your arms will shiny and make you more attractive.
