Hair Help! Summer hair...?

For the summer i wanted to dye my hair dark blond. My hair is naturally light brown, and it wouldn't be to far off from what it is naturally. Lemon juice just makes your hair brittle, and sun-in will turn it orange. So, will people think i'm being fake? I just want to have lighter hair for the summer. Or should I just keep it the way it is?

Hair Help! Summer hair...?

First of all, DON'T care what other people say. REALLY.

I think you should go for a change this summer. I myself plan to highlight my hair red then change it to purple.YAY(:

Do you plan to dye your hair in a salon or with lemon juice? Let's see...

Lemon is obviously cheaper.and the change of colour to orange is cool. haha

Some salons MIGHT give discounts for highlights or something if you go there to dye your hair blond.

Either way, GO FOR IT. go wild and dye it. :DD

Hair Help! Summer hair...?

You shouldn't worry. Your hair lightens naturally in the sun anyway. Also if you get a tan, it will also make your hair seem lighter.

People will think your being Fake otherwise. :S

try john frieda's sheer blond, it's moisturizing and it will give your color an extra pop of color.. also avon has this great sun protecting mist that's great protection during the summer heat..

Hair Help! Summer hair...?

naw, lots of people do that all the time, so either no one is fake or everyone is. either way, have fun with it! if you hate it, blonde is the easiest to dye back to dark anyway!

i recomend a salon, especially for someone who doesn't dye often.

Hair Help! Summer hair...?

Actual hair dye works much faster than lemon juice and that sun-in stuff. I've used both in the past, and sun-in makes hair look all greasy while you're in the sun, which isn't flattering at all! The fastest, nicest way to get dark blond hair for the summer is by dying it, either using a box or going to a barber. Don't care what others say -- and if your hair already looks real light brown, it won't be too much of a change.
