Both of these don't really work, and if you sit out in the sun with lemon in your hair it will dry your hair out. If you want to make your hair lighter I suggest using a purple shampoo available from drugstores/chemists. It is a purple shade and reacts with the blonde in your hair (real or fake) and lifts the blonde so it is more obvious as well as reducing brassiness.

lemon juice.. juice from lemon.. same difference and yes it does work, just put some in your hair and go out in the sun! however, it is suttle compared to something like Sun-In (which is very damaging)
