You should use a lavender tinted shampoo, it contains optical brighteners and the lavender hue works to remove any dull brassiness. I have blonde and I use it once a week to keep by blonde looking clean, light and fresh. I currently use the KMS brand, but there are heaps on the market and they all do the trick.
