i have natural blond hair and im thinkin bout dying it. should i?

Try using a temporary med. brown hair color it washes out after about 5-7 washes. If you like it then go permanent. If not you have your blond back.

I wouldn't if i were you. It is going to be very hard to get back to your natural color (if you decide to). May i suggest dying just the underneath of your hair brown (yes brown not black). Someone with the same color blond hair at my church dyed the under half of her hair brown and it looks really really good.

Yes, I think if you die it dark brown it would make your skin and eyes pop out more, but you might also need to die your eyebrows, it depends on what looks best. You might want to ask your hair stylist on which color would look best! Or even just just dark brown highlights or lowlights, that would also look good! Personally, I think people like you look better with a darker hair color!

Yes it is true, for some people(usually not lightening past the brassy orangy/yellow stage). Others see no result in color change at all, only to see that there hair becomes very damaged.

Sun-in and lemon juice are two of the worst things you can put in your hair and then sit in the sun. It does nothing but bake in all the really bad acids and chemicals in each.

It doesn't have enough lightening power to lighten (beyond orange) but, it sure can cause a lot of damage.

No this will just bleach your hair, removing the color from it, so it will be a lighter color but it is not healthy.

Well it lightens your hair. You won't get highlights per se but you will see a different in the overall color.

It is definitely true. It's very subtle though, which is a good thing. If you're going to squeeze a lemon directly onto your hair, try to disperse it well with a comb. Otherwise, put the juice into a small water spritzer (just the juice, no water) and spray it on. This should help you get it throughout your hair.

I tried it and it worked slightly for me. I used lemon juice and sun-in spray and my hair turned out this yucky orange color. Don't do it. It's worth the money to get them done professionally.

I tried that once and it fried my hair and barely changed the color. Get professional highlights. They'll look better and be healthier.

i makes the hair orange and damaged not a great thing 4 1s hair. tried and tested.....just at the ends to test and ended up cutting it out

Don't straigten the extensions and go to Sally's and ask what sort of shampoo/conditioner you should use when you wash your extensions.

You need to take -really- good care of your extensions because they don't have the benefit of having a natural cuticle anymore. Washing every other day [if you wear them every day] would be good.

However, if you BARELY wear them once a month should be fine.

As for your fried hair ends, get them trimmed off.

I have hair extensions too, even if the hair is real hair, it does not have the same moisture supply that your hair has, so it's important to use a good moisturizing shampoo. I would suggest going to a salon and buying a salon shampoo, more expensive...yes...but usually lasts a LOT longer and is 10x better for your hair. Right now I use Alterna Hemp Repair, it's a salon shampoo and works wonders!

Also, before you blow dry/straighten, it's important that you put a heat protectant cream in your hair to protect your hair from the heat, such as L'oreal Hot Straight.

Dandruff shampoo with a TAR in it is supposed to lighten your hair.

Also, I know its not shampoo, But Leamon juice and or baking soda works Good.

If you've dyed your hair and its been done today, and its too dar, Tide (yea, tide for clothing) will lighten it more than anything. Just wash your hair with it.

But if it has been more than a day, I'd try soaking lemon juice (and or baking soda) in your hair.

The lemon juice works for natural hair too.

its falsely advertised it contains NO pigments whatso ever

it won't lighten, but it may leave color deposits and look weird.

Quick Description: Im 14, male 4'11 im fairly skinny and i have blond hair (not curly straight) that in length is almost down to my shoulders.

Should I cut it? Keep it? Im open to your opinions.
