What should I color my hair?

I am an 18 year old male. I currently have dark blond hair, and I would like a change, and I'm willing to be radical. I would like to have a hair color that is natural though - maybe just not on me. *ie no pink, blue, green, etc)

I have blue eyes and quite a light complexion. My hair is quite short (about an inch long).

I have also tried lightening my hair before, but I'd like something new. I was thinking about dying it a very dark color, perhaps dark brown or nearly black. Any ideas on how you think this would look? Women? I know that you'll have a much better idea than the guys ... please?

Watch out for black. Take it from someone with experience (and black ends from waiting for it to grow out).

You want to consider the tone of your complexion. Is your skin a cool tone? Or a warm tone?

Otherwise, you may get a radical result...but not in a good way.

Black would so work and bring out your eyes, and so would red it would warm up your pale skin and your eyes. either way..going lighter only makes everything paler including your blue eyes ,the darker you go the darker your eyes and skin. Go a dark red. The look will go more natural when your roots start to show through the curls. Do not go black, looks too "dark"/sad. Plus, the dark brow/black will make your skin look pale.

If you want to go blond you might want to try Bleaching.

Be careful though, Because you can't bleach to often without harsh damage to your hair.

If you dye again though you'll want to either get it professionally done or get a darker color blond to start off then get the blond you want since you're going from darker to lighter.

If you combine two dyes in a bowl you'll just get a mess.

However, If you put a color in your hair and then another one in streaks on top [Or in areas you didn't use the first color in] that would be highlights.

ewe.....yes!!!! It'll turn orange...but if you must i would wait a couple of days be for dying it again just so it don't fry but you'll probably have to dye it more than once to get the blond you want!

depends on how long ago you got your hair dyed. If it was less then four to six weeks ago, you could really damage your hair. Talk to a professional first to see what you should do and how much longer you should wait. and if you try it yourself, you might turn your hair orange.

If I were you, i would chop it off.. it grows back. but i would leave the bang and cut my hair to about the bottom of my ear, kind of like Rihanna's hair style. It's so HOT!... and bump the hair under with the flat iron. But i wish your bang would of been longer, so your bang could end around the same length as your hair at the back (make sense???)

you have the perfect hair length for this really great up-do!! i know you said that you didnt want one but this is a fun one!! there is this thing called a "haragami" that you can get at a claires or icing store for $11 its great way to get a professional bun and some really cute styles other than a bun... and you can create some styles yourself and there are intructions on the package to tell you how to put your hair up!! then i just recently got my hair cut as well and its 2 inches above my shoulders... i thought i couldnt do anything but pigtails... but i have a straightening iron and i use that to flair out the edges of my hair and it looks really cute... but my hair doesnt keep a curl or a straighten very long so i use a mousse which is like hairspray but its foamy and i use this pantine cream stuff... its like $5 at target and its orange colored and smells great!! well i know its not much but its a way to make short hair look nice!!

Ummm..I would cut the hair some what shorter. Maybe get some layers......get some highlights..Some light browns or some darker blonds... the cutting adn layers will give it some body.

Also if you dont want to cut your hair, use a round brush when you are blowdrying, it will give it some bounce.
